SAS is a program started in 2021 by NJAPD in partnership with the 5 NJ hygiene programs. WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!
Sign up to be on a list to volunteer your expertise & help a child in need. SIGN up to provide FREE dental care from February to May for children that were screened by any dentist or hygiene program for GKAS and Children’s dental health month. A database of pediatric dentists willing to treat a child for free dental care will be created and shared with all those participating with NJ Give Kids a Smile!

Our society serves its members and represents the specialty of Pediatric Dentistry in the State of New Jersey. Our goal is to advocate optimal oral health care for infants, children, adolescents/teenagers and persons with special needs.
We will represent the oral health issues for all children in the state of New Jersey. We strive to encourage, sponsor and advance the achievement of high and ethical standards of practice for our members. We want to promote to the public scientific information and advancements in Pediatric Dentistry to better educate parents on the value of a pediatric dentist for their child.
It is truly and honor and privilege to serve as the President of the New Jersey Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (NJAPD). Our specialty is dedicated to providing the best possible dental care for all children and our organization will strive to provide the highest quality continuing education programs for your pursuit of excellence. We are always looking forward to the future to make sure that our organization continues to epitomize the prestige of organized dentistry in New Jersey. Organized dentistry is crucial to the continued growth and success of dentistry as a profession but also our individual success as clinicians and members of our respective communities. In conjunction with the members of our executive board, I will serve as a liaison for our members to the New Jersey Dental Association (NJDA) and provide up-to-date and relevant information pertaining to our profession. I hope to build on the camaraderie of year’s past that has made our organization and our profession so wonderful. I am sincerely looking forward to serve as President of the Academy.
